The way of painting for back engraving on scotch acrylic.
It is easily to be back engraved for acrylic by cnc wood router. Then you may could use needle to inject the painting. It is easily to inject the painting to acrylic, the difficulty is to clean the painting out of engraving part. Usually you can use knife or gasoline to clean it, then make prima paint. 
If the acrylic will not use primer paint, then can not use knife to clean.

The way of panting for back engraving on colorful acrylic
Using back painting way, painting the primer paint to the backside, then use the self-adhensive label to stick, then engrave it. When the engraving job is completed by cnc wood router, paint the gold painting again. When the paint is dry, clean the self-adhensive label. This way could protect primer and gold paint very well.

1. Create frame program in CAD software. Then output it to program edit software, in this software, you set toolpath, choose cutters for different job, such as engraving, drilling or cutting etc. Then output the program with the format CNC Wood router could read.
2.  Put wood workpiece to cnc wood router working table. To make sure that wood work piece be clamped or absorbed tightly to working table.
3. Now turn on cnc wood router, move spindle to the position you want starting. And set home point.
4. Use dust collecting system for operator health, environment proteciton, machine protection.
5. When the cnc wood router complete its work, the spindle will move back to the homepoint. You can go on another work or turn off cnc wood router.

Maintenance for converter motor on cnc wood router
1. In case that an increase in noise and vibration occurs to the cnc wood router motor, it should be considered as the result of bearing wear, and the machine requires timely replacement.
2. In case that an abrupt stalling occurs, or an unusual odor gives out during operation of cnc wood router, immediately cut off the power, and then point a megameter measuring stator to the insulation resistance and measure the symmetry of the three-phase resistance. When the difference between the maximum/minimum values and the average value of the phase resistance exceeds 3%, or the insulation loses out, the stator is determined to be burn out and should be timely repaired.
3. After being placed for many days, the electric spindle of cnc wood router should be operated without load for half an hour before starting operation, to enhance the stator’s insulation performance.
4. During maintenance, storage and transportation, the dust proof cap of cnc wood router should be mounted at the inlet of cooling water, to prevent sewage from entering the water passage.

CNC Wood Router Cut Acrylic Cashier Board and Breast Plate


Using cnc wood router cut acrylic for cashier board and breastplate is very easy and qucikly.
Firstly, you design the cashier board size and make tool path, choosing what cutter you use, then transfer the program file to the control system Usually the program file is with G code file.
Now you put the acrylic sheet on the working table, using clamps to fix it or using vacuum system to holding it down tightly. Then mount on the cutter. Move the cnc wood router spindle to the position you want to start processing. Now, cut starting.
It takes for a while, then partially finished product is coming.
Now take off the self-adhensive cover from acrylic, stick the gold paper with words on it. then done. The breast board is with double layer for acrylic.

 After installed Type3 software, you will find a shortcut icon in your computer’s desktop as         . But if you double click it, you will get this message 
 
 It is because you haven’t install the dongle and it’s driver.
 Then you should plug in the USB dongle in your computer and install the driver program of the dongle. If you didn’t do these, you will get this message after you double click Type3 shortcut.
 
1. Go to the folder that you installed TypeEdit2003plus, C:\TypeEdit2003PLUS as a example. Get in the folder named Key. Also you can find this folder in this CD’s root directory.
 
   You will find these programs in the Key folder. Drop the ini.dll on the REGSVR32.exe as below

Learning how to hand engrave with a router can be very rewarding. Freehand engraving yields results that last forever. All you need is a small hand router. Draw your pattern on a piece of wood and establish your lines. Follow them with a router and a small engraving bit. Because you don't use guides to follow your patterns, it gives your engravings a custom, hand carved look. It's easy, fun and it's even safer than engraving with a knife. A popular grape-leaf pattern is traditional and easy to find, and is a good place to start.
Things You'll Need
Small hand router, 1/4-inch capacity
Router bit, 1/4-inch flute
2 wrenches that came with router
Pencil
Pattern
Pine, 6-by-24-by-3/4-inch
Grape leaf pattern
Scissors
2 hand clamps, 12-inch
1Download a grape leaf pattern of your choice and print it out. Cut out the pattern with scissors.
2Trace the pattern onto the pine. Clamp the pine to the edge of a worktable.

3Insert the flute bit into the router and tighten the retaining nut using the wrenches. Loosen the depth of cut adjustment on the side of the router and slide the router base so that 1/4 inch of the bit extends out the bottom of the router base. Tighten the depth of cut knob.
4Plug in the router. Hold the router base in both hands, position it over the pine. Reach up with your thumb and turn the cnc wood router on.
5Position the tip of the bit over the pencil lines and lower the bit into the wood. Let the sides of your palms on both hands rest on the wood as you hold the router between your hands.
6Begin following the lines, like you would with a large pen sliding the router along slowly as you trace over the pencil lines, letting the bit cut the design with the tip of the bit. Trace the entire design.
Tips & Warnings
Test the depth of your cut on a piece of scrap wood, or the back of your piece of pine before starting to engrave. When finished engraving, use a small piece of folded sandpaper to remove any feathered edges of the engraving lines.
Always wear safety glasses when working with wood. Make sure your router is turned off when you plug it in.

Here you must notice that, the first step working on PCB is drilling, not engraving.

How to fix PCB on CNC wood router working table?
Are you a PCB workshop owner? How you fix PCB on CNC router working table? By twin adhensive? by clamp? After using adhensive, it is rather not eady to remove the adhensive, right? Well, if you use clamp, and 
when the PCB size is not small, then the middle section of PCB may can not fixed tightly, and cause lower resolution?
Today, OMNI suggest a good solution for PCB processing.  We use No.67 spray adhensive with 3M brand.
1. Clean the dust from PCB back and working table. Then spray out the No.67 adhensive to PCB back and leave the PCB for several min. 
2. Ensure working table is even, put PCB on table, start engraving and drilling.
3. NO.67 adhensive can be used repeatly for several days. So for next PCB, then still use it. If the back of PCB is with a little adhensive after processed by router cnc, then use 3M orange detergent to clean it.

 For cheaper acrylic, we try different feeding speed, different spindle rolling speed on cheap acrylic drilling, the drilling result is ok, but the acrylic powder easily sticks cutter and melted, then causing cnc wood routercutter broken.


 For expensive acrylic, 8000 rpm is no problem for it, the acrylic hole edge is smooth, and the powder is not easy to stick cutter. It is also faster for powder removing, 
drilling hole resolution is higher, and no acrylic melt appearance.
The cheaper 2.0 single edge milling cutter, powder removing capability is just ok. But the edge of work have to be improved.
 High quality single edge 2.0 milling cutter, the cutting edge is smooth, no need for re-work again, like made by mould.

1. Identifying what is main work using CNC wood router. CNC router manufactures classify cnc routers for several purpose, this is for meeting different processing material. It is wasty 
if you works on double corlor board by cnc router for mould, or engraves stamp by large size laser engraving machine. And also it is un-affordable to works on the mould by the cnc router for 
adversiting purpose. So please let sales person to know that your mainly work, including the workpiece size, material characteristics, thickness, weight, engraving or cutting result and other requirement 
etc for getting a product satisfying, which could creat considerable benefit.

2. Choose suitable model
For smaller sign shop, considering mainly works on acrylic letters, double color board, chest card etc, should buy an advertising grade. And if you mainly cut acrylic letters, suggest choose spindle  power 
bigger than 800w. Orelse, it will speed up bearing wear, lost resolution if using smaller power spindle work for heavy duty job. Generally, if you only engrave double color board, suggest using working size less than 
600mm, if you also cut big board, then choose the right size cnc router. If you works on cylindrical material or other unusual shape, then, you may need to mount on some frock clamp or rotary attachment. And this 
requires longer z axis travelling size. 

3. Try making sample before placing order
For ensuring that your order is 100% suitable for your work. Better confirm that machine made your work before, or has the similar working sample. OMNI sales engineer confirm your workpiece with technicians, and

1. Bits:
This cnc router can use bits with 3.175mm and 6mm. Bits are for engraving, cutting  and drilling. Offer er11 collet.
