It works! The 3D-printed CNC MkII is complete and working beautifully. I tested cutting a 100-tooth HTD5M gear in under 45 minutes on a 6mm thick aluminum sheet, and it was perfect! Imagine what it can do with it!
I'm incredibly happy that I didn't break a single part during this video. I spent quite a bit of time working on soft poplar plywood to improve the process, and I did a pretty good job (thankfully, I didn't break any parts).
As you may recall, there was an earlier version of this that became an emergency donor. This improved version of the "parts" is easier to assemble, more detailed, and can be printed on a small printer.
